12/28/11 - Zap was great! The turnout was amazing with over 8,000 people attending and several hundred wineries pouring. If you didn't make it this year, you definetly need to go next year. The new venue was superb! Read more of the summary here: RJ on Wine

2009 Ottimino Zinfandel Little 8 Ottimino Vineyard – USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley (1/28/2012) Intriguing, dried berry, subtle herbs, black fruit nose; complex, tasty, tart black fruit, herbs, tar palate; medium-plus finish (92 pts.)
2010 Ottimino Zinfandel Biglieri Vineyard – USA, California, Sonoma County, Dry Creek Valley (1/28/2012) Barrel sample – intriguing, lifted, tart berry, dried berry, subtle spice nose; tasty, tart berry, subtle spice, baking spice palate; medium-plus finish 91-93 points (50 yr old vines) (91 pts.)

10/28/11 - Participated in the 2011 Sonoma State Sips, Bites, and Bids - an event to support the Wine Business Program. Had a great turn out, and our wines did very well in the auction!


10/19/11 - Inspecting Windsor Oaks vineyard - the view isn't so bad either.

10/3/11 - Harvesting Zinfandel in the rain and mist - luckily it was all picked before the weather got really bad.
9/28/11 - Sampled Ottimino and Rancho Bello vineyards today. Looks like we will be picking early next week.
